"This EP sees the band continuing doing what they have been doing with a gradually increasing tendency – creating music fairly hard to define within a genre or subgenre context, prime contenders for the "It's Prog, Jim, but not as you know it" column in the Prog Magazine. A band and an EP to check out for those who have a taste for subtly unusual progressive music."

"Hey i googled something prince Paul related and got your band camp. Your songs are really bad, your singer is OFFENSIVELY BAD. 1/10
feel free to use this on your page with other reviews"

"Once again this five-member Alt-Prog Kentucky based outfit have come up with five-tunes, 25-minutes of music that fit neatly into their proggy style; harsh at times, smooth and easy at others. Chest Rockwell work to construct their compositions with lots of depth, structure and musical gymnastics. It’s a worthy addition to their musical catalog and if you’ve been following the band you would do well to get this new disc."

"They're not Prog, but they sure are progressive, they aren't Classic Rock, but boy do they rock, they're not fusion, but they undoubtedly fuse styles. Whatever you want to call them Chest Rockwell are pretty damn good and not afraid to shout about it. Your voice should add to their noise."

"Chest Rockwell's latest release, the EP ...Weep and You Weep Alone, is gorgeous and receives a recommendation-level ranking. It is extremely difficult to pin a label on Chest Rockwell or even provide a signpost to another similar band. In my opinion, composition is one of their strongest attributes: they pack their music with a variety of ideas that make the listener focus and pay attention, even when they may have started out inattentively. What happens then is that the increased focus brings the reward of some very fine music making."
